[Route 16]

There was a misunderstanding on my order for stoptech stainless steel brake lines. So instead of getting 4, I got 2 for the front. Other than cosmetic effect. Is there any negative effect to having a mismatch (performance wise)?

Short term no. Long term as in years, as the factory lined weaken, maybe. You should be fine.

There should be no problem with running just the fronts with SS. Each corner has its own dedicated hard line for the brakes.
