Engine oil overfill by 1 Litre

Sounds more likely. Charge you for 6.5l and supply 4.5l

Anyways everything has been sorted now and he drained the 1litre out. All is good now

I had a similar issue. I went for oil change. Later when i checked the oil it was in the middle. I thought it should touch the max limit when full like a dipstick so I asked the garage and they said bring the car and we will top up. They said they filled 5.8 liters and when i took my car again they added 1 litre more. the oil pressure didn't change even after that. It is not showing any sign saying I over filled or anything. What should I do? It's my first BMW so I'm not sure about these cars.

My issue is sorted now. I went to another dealership and drained all the oil. added 6L and now it shows full oil.
