E92 D2 rear springs on E90?
Will it work? I've read that the springs for e92 rear are shorter?
And, I've searched this topic and all I can find is a D6/D2 setup for E90. I have D5 fronts. Mostly those are paired with D4 rears. I couldn't really find a lot of e92 threads with D2 rears at all. It was mostly D3 or higher. And the threads that listed all the spring codes and comparability left out D2. So, should I go ahead and put these on or look for a D4 set of rear springs? Wouldn't want to pay for two installs. (Not to mention the un-install) Thanks! |

d3 is for the coupe
D2 to me sounds a lot like the T2 springs found on sport 128i rear in pre LCI days. I didn't know they existed until I swapped for Linear T3 of LCI 135 So it's possible that the D2 is for a 325 330 328 Msport Coupe springs are shorter. Simply look at any after spring set that is generic for all e9x and you will see how the rear is tucking
