Probably the most popular is the BMW's own Performance exhaust (which I have if you want any info).

Brilliant thanks for the reply. Did you have to do any cutting and welding to fit the BMW performance exhaust. My back box is connected to the midsection via a flange joint so if the Bmw performance back box bolts straight on it would be brilliant as I can I install it my self.

Also how does the performance exhaust sound?

Thank you

Sound is brilliant IMHO. Best mod I've done (or possibly my Ohlins!). Hardly ever use my ICE as I'm always listening to the lusty roar!

Sadly no, the PE isn't a straight bolt-on to the flange. It requires a cut though the pipe about 3" to the rear of the flange, then the PE is joined with heavy-duty clamps (which are supplied with the PE). Best thing to do is remove the original back box from the car, then it's easy to make the cut in the right place. Definitely possible to DIY.

If you order one, ask the supplying dealer to print off a set of fitting instructions which are very clear and easy to follow.

If you can't get the instructions, PM me and I can send you them.
