Bromley Area - BMW Theft Warning

In short... friends of ours with a new 320ED were woken middle of last week by the sound of people downstairs in their house.

My mate is a big lad and ran downstairs screaming and chased them out ... saw them jump into a car and got a partial reg before remembering his little girl was inside and ran back in to see her.

They contacted police who said there was a known gang in the area who are currently breaking into peoples houses stealing car keys - predominantly BMW's.

I know this has been covered before but from a personal point of view id prob make it easier on yourself and leave the keys on the windowsill inside or something. That way they get the key, take the car and sod off without any harm to your family.

Personally i wish Alan had caught them - he would have prob decapitated one with his bear hands!

bromley is a nice area, shocking its happening there now.

yesteraday like at 5 pm a person in a e30 bmw vert was outside my house turning around(house at the end of the road), the car was parked up outside my house with igntion on.

stayed there for like 10 -20 mins.

it was a bit odd, was in my brother room looking out (his room was dark).

worried about the car and the alloys.

some pricks in this world.
