2016 Audi S5 Calipers on 335i

Hello, sorry but I couldn’t find a post about this. I have an extra set of 2016 Audi S5 campers sitting around and I am wondering if I can use them. I have a 2007 335i coupe with sport package. I have aftermarket 19” wheels so I believe they would fit. However, I’m not sure if the bolt pattern or bracket would like up. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Any help would be appreciated.

There are so many dimensional variables to work with that I'd be shocked this is even possible, without spending more time and money than just buying a BBK that fits.

Lol, seriously. Do you really think somebody here would just happen to know if Audi S5 calipers will work on your BMW? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no. At least not without some custom adapters/spacers/brackets. The pad's probably not the right shape for the rotor anyways.

lol 100%. I remember not too long ago someone asking about some AMG brakes a friend gave him and wondering if they will fit his BMW. Brings the "will this fit on my honda" meme to my head all the time.

It's unlikely that they will fit since they are not radial mount calipers. It's much easier to make an adapter braket for a set of brakes that are radial mount.

You're going to fight the difference in mounting points of the stock caliper with the new caliper, and then accounting for thickness of the bracket.

To help visualize it, here's an example of a radial mount bracket:

The bolt holes are where they would mount to the knuckle like the stock caliper, and then the long bolts run thru the new caliper to hold it on.

Imagine trying to make the bolt holes on the knuckle adapt to a different spacing, and still have the caliper fit.

There's a thread on here about the aliexpress BBK - bolt on solution for a grand.
