I'm looking for help in identifying the type of cable, and software, I will need to code a 2006 330i with an n52 engine. I plan on running the software on a laptop running XP pro with 4gb of ram and it has a serial port.
I'm sure this information is in this forum, but I haven't been able to find it. Thanks in advance, Bill |

Download Standard Tools for the software and visit the store for the cable.

Hello!
I own an e90 with nfrm. I was trying to code my welcome lights with fog lights. I was enable to do this, but my angel eyes doesnt light anymore when i am opening the car. To code the fog light i changed in ncs expert WL_NSL to SOFT_EINSCHALTEN, and I also checked the WL_SL_1 (which i think that are the angel eyes) and is also SOFT_EINSCHALTEN. What I am doing wrong? Any ideas? Thanks! |

Hey guys.
Just got hands on a BMW 330D E93 and wanted to diagnose the car via OBD port, but it seems I'm unable to get a communication between DIS and the car. The strange thing is there's an LED below the OBD port which doesn't seem to be original from the manufacturer. When ignition is turned on the LED lights up. Is it some kind of an OBD blocker? |

Hi, new to the forums here, but have been lurking for a while trying to get my Adaptive Headlights working again. Long story, I'll make a new thread with everything that I have been through over the last few months later today.
For now, I have a (hopefully) simple question. After replacing my FRM3 adding VIN, and recoding to factory, etc, I am left with a weird anomaly. When the door is open and the car is switch on, but not running, I am getting the warning message "Ignition switched on." I did not have that before. I assume I can turn this off? Does anyone know which module that code is stored in and the name of the setting? I have all the tools, INST-D, NCS Expert, Dummy, Tool32, WINKFP, with good datens. Thanks. |

I don't think you can, I know bimmercode has expert mode for F chassis but not sure about E chassis. Go into FRM module on bimmercode and check if there's an exert mode section. If not, then you're out of luck. You'll need ncs expert or protools

You can disable it using NCSExpert.

I am using ncs expert v4.0.1. previously I had trouble loading the MAN file into the car. With a little help, I solved it by uploading DATEN files and I was able to open the closed angel eyes. Now when I want to raise the voltage I realized that. it doesn't give error when uploading files to the car, but when I read it again, I noticed that the changes I made were not loaded and the old file was not updated. how to solve this problem. my car is bmw e90 320d 2011 lci. I hope you understand that I am using google translate.

Hello, new to the forum....understand I need to replay to something before I can do much so here it is. Picked up a 335d from auction a couple weeks ago. Potential disaster for sure. Spent a solid day working on getting software working to see what was going on with me car. Still dealing with everything being in German but i'm getting there.
More to come in the diesel section.... |
