Owners Circle Order Tracking Updates

I just ordered on Monday and have been obsessively checking owners circle since my CA gave me a production number on Tuesday.

Does anyone know how often OC gets updated?

Mine is still listed as On order, I am hoping it changes to Scheduled for Production soon!

I think it gets updated every few days.
Some have said about a week but I think it's a little faster.

Check on it about once a week or you'll go crazy. FWIW, my car was at the dealer the day after OC said that it had arrived at the VPC.

Your CA can give you the build week, then when it's close, the build date, then figure about 30 days from that point and you should be cruisin.

I placed my order on the 14th of March, and every day since then I called the 800 number, and it changed from On Order, Scheduled for Production, then two days ago, it said it began production with a finish date of the 25th of March.

Note that the 800 number can be inaccurate as well. Last night, I called the number to get the status of my vehicle, and it told me that it's in transit. My new vehicle was actually sitting in my garage, as I had picked it up from the dealer yesterday morning!!!

On the other hand, the OC now shows "At Your BMW Center". Since this is the last step in the OC, I guess it's as accurate as it can be.

Good luck.

The reason why mine was faster is because they were able to find a 335i that was ALREADY going to be built, but they just changed the options/color of the car to suit what I wanted. When I added the car to my Owners Circle acct, it showed a different color and interior.. but a day or so later, it made the changes.

that's my guess at least.

That's just what they usually do...use stock allocation and build them out for an owner.
