While the engine is out, we will take the opportunity to improve the 7670 positioning in the engine bay by replacing the manifold, dump pipe and pipeworks

New exhaust manifold arrived, sporting a black ceramic coating and a name plate

Looks nice... now hopefully it fits

Im very hopefully it fits. Such a strange shape turbo. But this is mich better than my first prototype you currently have.

Keen to see the bonnet lookin normal again!

Actually if I can't get the 7670 to fit under the hood, ill have to get a custom hood..

Power bump and vents for heat management, will be a must

Here are a couple of shots I found that I could borrow design cues from... what do you think, if forced down this path??

Forgestar F14s

Have you thought about getting set of these on there?
Personally getting a set. Can purchase locally for around 3k, or direct from the US ends up being around 2.7k.

Little work getting the super deep concaves on, but definately an aggressive look. Reckon will look a treat on your sexy beast

Get some BBS rims. CH-Rs are sweet, but I am partial to them. Unless you really want that concave look...personally I think it's a bit ricey.

A little bit concave looks cool:

I have a pair of xenon from an m3 with broken tabs on both sides top and bottom.

That won't matter at all for you as you can swap the insides out with yours. Dirt cheap $500 for the pair,
Usually 750 each, text me man and il get them put aside for you as il be away for 6 weeks.
I’ll take em... I sent you a PM but you must be outta town

BMW Auto

45 Prince William Dr,
Seven Hills, NSW 2147
Ph) 1300 BWAAUTO

3.3k delivered to the NT. 10-12 week lead time.

Sizes and. Offsets recommended by forgestar was:
19x9.5 +21 front and 19x11 +25 rear

But few other people. Going with different numbers.

Will need to roll your guards and possibly stretch your tyres to get a good fit.

Can link you the forum discussion on sizes and getting them to fit.
Think you'll be fine with the m3 fenders though.

Can't wait to get mine

Id go 9 fronts and 10 rears. 11 for rears imo is way too wide for non m body and you can save your fenders from being rolled..

Unfortunately if he wants super deep concave in the front 9.5 is minimum. Could go 10s on the rear, but wouldn't look as aggressive. IMO

I'm new to the site (if you hadn't noticed) lol.
I haven't received any PM's that I can see?

Let me know if you'd like the link for the fitting discussion.

Personally don't mind rolling my fenders. If. It means I'm gonna get a good fitments and no rubbing even with a load. Of course getting airbags is always gonna help with this

Have you considered installing a water / meth kit yet?
(sorry if it's been done already, so many mods to keep up with) 😋

Hey Gio
Welcome to the forum mate
My guards are rolled already so no problems there.
No have not gone done the meth route yet
Still running on 98 pump gas atm
Am fitted out with a stage 3 pump and port injection, just have not got around to hooking it up and getting a 100% E85 tune
Should pull a little harder when it’s done

Back on post 3658 was mod 97 (a set of M3 folding mirrors)

After waiting and waiting the CF mirror caps have finally arrived and are ready to replace the CF wrapped orange ones

Happy days
