Best GTA recalls service airbag blower n52 vent
Well I have to get my 2011 328 recalls done. All three of them. Airbag, heater blower wire , and the vent valve for n52.
Was going to take it to pfaff in mississauga where I bought when it was called mississauga bmw. Called a few times and always goes to voice mail. Left message but never got a call back. But seems reviews are not the greatest in service end. One even saying they dented his car. Wondering if I should go to bmw Toronto instead. I think they these dealers are getting hooped by bmw on these recalls and are not really interested in doing them as I know tech and shop take a hit doing these. Any experiences on getting recalls done that could inform me? Thanks

They don't like doing these because they get paid "fairly" for recalls and warranty work. Where as they will gouge a customer and charge double time than what it's supposed to be for out of warranty work.

BMW Toronto … that's the dealer that had the coolant poisoning incident a few weeks ago.
I have the same problem with Pfaff getting them to answer the phone. What was more annoying is that they originally wanted me to go in twice for the heater recall: one visit for inspection and a 2nd for repair. I had my airbag replaced there in the spring without any issues. When it was still called Mississauga BMW, I had them do warranty replacement of both turbos + a/c evaporator under warranty (> $8k!). No issues there or any hesitation on their part. Even gave me a free rental car. I'm booked at Pfaff for the heater recall in early NOV. |

I wouldn't deal with Toronto BMW. just because I've had bad experience with them doing work without my authorization and charging me for it on multiple occasions. =P Nice dealership with good looking women but I wouldn't go there
Ever since my negative experience there I've been going to Parkview BMW and they have done me good. Same owner just better service. |

Thanks for replies
My friend is a tech at a MB dealer and one of the guys there knows a guy at budds who says the guy is a good and respectful tech. See if I can get him to do it. They probably done hundreds of these already, not worried that they don't know how to do these recalls-just want someone who will treat car properly, and by that I mean I don't want scratches dings- my car is in excellent shape for age and plan to keep it like that. bit of a drive to budds, but rather that then dealing with an issue because of sloppiness.
