Engine fault! Reduced power (2C01 and 2BF8)

Hey, guys!
Lately I'm having a repeating error message: "Engine fault! Reduced power. Full engine power no longer available. Possible to continue journey. Drive moderately. Have the problem checked by the nearest BMW service."
I ran a check and the following codes came up:
002C01 - High pressure fuel, plausibility Pressure too low
002BF8 - Rail pressure sensor, signal: Permanently stuck
and
00A8F9 - CBX-MEDIA: Software reset (I guess this one is because of a software reset I asked for, in order to have the latest updates and solve a lag problem I had while driving away in D mode).

I'm sure that, unfortunately, I'm not the only one having these errors.
How did you fix the problem, was it only the HPFP or another part also?

Thanks!

I have seen several people posting about the first code recently. I know one person was replacing the sensor. Do some searching on that code in here and N54tech and you should be able to get some more info. I don't remember him posting more after doing the sensor so that may have fixed his problem.

Do you have a JB4 by chance?

Hello
I can see this is an old post, but how did you resolve the 2 codes being 2C01 and 2BF8 ?

If the car isn't going into limp mode, try clearing the codes and see if the rail pressure sensor code comes back on. If it does, I would proceed with replacing the rail pressure sensor ($50-$60 on FCPEuro).

If your car is going in and out of limp mode, your HPFP is probably going out. When my car was doing this a month or two ago, I was also getting the rail pressure sensor code, but once I replaced the HPFP I never saw it again. Sometimes when the pump goes out the sensor will send a "false fault".
