Can i fix this radiator plug?

Right as I was a block from my house (Thank God) my coolant light came on and my car was dumping coolant. I pulled into my garage and found this was where it was coming from. I had done a coolant flush 2 months ago and i remember taking a socket to the larger black plug part and it just spun in place, never came out. then I realized I had to take off the inner blue part in order to drain the coolant. Apparently I never put the black part back because this is now where it is leaking from.

Is this broken? I turn it but it doesn't like click, or lock, or stop at a certain point like the blue plug part does. Can I replace this? Do I have to buy a whole new radiator?

This is what I'm talking about:

Hard to tell from the video but the blue inner plug is fine. this is coming from the black part

Is one of these what you're missing? Shouldn't be hard to obtain or too expensive.

Thanks for the reply Cloverdale. I watched the video and did not know that comes out like that, I went to my car and was able to pull mine out and I can see my plastic tabs are sheared off when I originally tried taking it off when I did the coolant flush so I'm assuming that is why it popped down and started shooting everywhere on the road. Odd it took this long to happen but I guess I'll just order one of those and should stay in place for good.

The o rings on the plug probably failed and that’s why it barely started leaking. Get a new one and you should be fine.
Make sure you’re new one is the same length.

That is a good point, thanks for mentioning that!

ANYONE reading this thread:
Drain Plug (Blue on mine) has P4 Phillips head;
Fitting into which plug screws (Black on mine) is 19mm Hex
ALWAYS Hold 19mm Black Hex with wrench to PREVENT it from turning when loosening/tightening Blue P4 drain plug
Failure to Hold 19mm Hex will result in broken plastic (and worse).

I recently broke the blue plastic plug and just changed it with a URO brass version. There are also some aluminum versions from ECS, etc but the brass version was cheap enough form amazon/ebay/etc and arrived quickly.

My upgraded intercooler makes it pretty hard to get at the plug without removing the intercooler.

The head of the blue one broke off on my 330 when I was trying to do a coolant change. Have thought about those brass ones, they seem like a decent thing to upgrade.
