335XI vs 335I strut length/knuckle height
How much longer are the 335I struts than the 335xi?
I was told that the "xi" knuckle sits about 3" higher than the "I", is this true as well?

The Xi knuckle is higher to clear the CV axle in the front. So yes, the XI shocks are shorter, but I couldn't tell you by how much.

im having a front strut issue...the answer to this question may solve that issue
