E90 320d M47 Oil Leaks

Hi,

My E90 320d has been leaking oil for years via the intercooler >>> inlet manifold pipe.

My mechanic said it was normal and it hasn't been an issue until now.

Basically my car is mapped and has been since been around 100k, i'm on 162k now. Pre map, I deleted the EGR as it was buggered and fitted a delete kit. This I believe is the issue, as it is leaking via the pipe / clamp to the EGR delete. Dripping down onto the coolant pipes below and leave it long enough, the under tray.

Can the plastic end to the pipe be removed for a samco / jubilee clip type fitment or is there a gasket / o-ring I can get for the delete?

Secondly it recently developed a substantial oil leak via the swirl flaps, which was leaking down the side and back of the engine. I de-flapped it, fitted new gaskets and that now appears to be resolved.

I also fitted a new crankcase breather as there was oil sitting in the top of the housing. I got a genuine BMW part, with gaskets and the oil is back again. Sitting in the top of the sloped side of the housing, nearest the injector rail.

Why is it pooling oil there?

I know the system has oil in it but to the extent of it dripping out of the intercooler pipe and down the front of the engine / undertray?

Just seems excessive.

Change crank case breather. Check the turbo bearings and seals as this is 99% where all 320D m47 engines start to leak oil. the oil flies into the intercooler setup. gets trapped or flies past it up the air intake. This gunkes up the whole system and needs to be sorted out.

Removing and propperly blocking the EGR is only good as it stops more shitty oil grease from entering the engine.
