Headlight restoration

I have tried on several occasions to restore my headlights with minimal improvement. I feel like I've done a thorough job but I'm not getting the results I want. I'm looking for a auto shop/paint shop in the Baltimore region that can do headlight restoration with UV clear coat paint. Any leads?

Don't know about Maryland but in NJ Carrx does a good job.. For $100 they guarantee them looking new for 3 years, which is more than enough for me as I plan to sell my 11 next year or the following..

Dont have a before pic but this is the after.. The plastic was a bit faded, especially up top before.

Thank you for the reply. Was that something they were able to complete in one day or did you have to leave your car overnight/multiple days? Also, do they remove the headlight completely to do the work? Thanks again.

They came to my house. Only thing they had to do was open the hood. Job took a bit over an hr.

I've had great success using 1000 to 3000 grit sandpaper and then coating with Meguiar's Headlight Coating.

Same here. I did mine over a year ago and it is still holding up well. The coating goes on like a clear coat and has UV inhibitors.

Here is the kit I used along with some wet sanding paper I got at the local auto body and paint supply store:

Thank you for the responses. I will look into the kit that was mentioned. I used Mother's NuLens kit along with wet sanding by hand with 600 through 2500 grit paper. Still yellowing after reapplication of chemical guys sealant each wash. That's why I'm leaning towards having them professionally cleaned and painted with UV paint. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
