Bluetooth voice control language change

Hi
I got my E90 320d EfficientDynamics today. The Bluetooth Bluetooth Voice Conrol (no iNavi but Professional radio) is in German. Is there any easy means to change the language into English (probably Finnish is not available)?

Hi my fellow Finn! Got my E91 325dA yesterday and found out today this same problem (I have Prof Navi though) that Voice Control lady speaks german instead of english. Did you find a solution yet?

Hi

I was told by the Finnish BMW importer the the "language of the car" must be changed from German into English. That work can only be done by the official BMW service representative. So I must take the car to the garage and let them do the job with their proprietary equipment. What I heard it's an easy task - if you know what to do. Charging about that is still open "but can be negotiated".

Oooh, it would be nice if we could change the language. I might want to try in German. It's a German car, so Ich moechte Deutsch sprechen!

(Trying to remember my high school German...)

There seems to be no solution to this problem.

Well, only solution seems to be that you take your ride to dealer and let them change the language.

It took whole day for my dealer to do this but I guess they updated software same time...

People have already tried and failed to get the dealer to change the language.

I spoke about my experience only:
when I got my car, it only understood german and dealer updated software and now it understands english. So at least Finnish dealers have their way to do this.

US cars might have different software architecture (or something) or dealers just dont want to learn extra stuff!

voice control

Hello, does that take to much time to do? Because I left my car today at a dealer, they took all day, and it came as I left it...

I came to update this thread as It drove me insane when I was looking around the forums.

Simple fact is. VOICE RECOGNITION LANGUAGE CAN BE CHANGED USING NCSEXPERT.

So I don't have to re-write everything:
