Smile buying a demo 2008 323i

Hey everyone, I'm new here... I have been lurking for a while now and I have found this site very helpful.

Anyways, I am interested in purchasing a 2007-2008 323i and I have come across a few demo/courtesy vehicles at Brian Jessel BMW in Vancouver. They have approx 25-30 323i's on their lot. I am going to take a look at them tomorrow. Can anyone offer me some advice on buying a demo? What would be a fair price?

As per my phone conversation with one of the Sales Managers, a 323i with 10,000kms and premium package is going for about 35k.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks

Instead of a 323i with 10k on it why not go for a 328i with 25-30k on it? You'll get a better engine plus some extra features and there's no diff b/w an '07 and an '08.

I wouldn't go for it. 2009 is 35k without any options.... Premium package on that car is ~2400.

Its an 08, its been beaten to death like all demos and has way too many clicks to be called anything other then used.

i think now the 2009 facelift sedans are out...2008 323's price should be reduced alot like somewhere near 35k range too talking about brand new here.... a demo with 10,000km selling for 35k to me i felt that is kind of a high price... you should ask couple more dealerships first...
...and the most important thing is....demo cars, courtesy cars have all been ripped badly man...if you thinking to keep the car for long time take that into consideration

just get a new 323i. more std equipment for the dollar (base vs. base). you are entitled to factory rebates as well if you buy a brand new one. i recommend the 328i.

or if you really wish to go with demo models, get a 328i demo instead

i'm sorta disappointed at my decision to lease a '08 328. should have waited for the 09s. more std equipment for the same price.

when i was deciding on my 323i , it was either from 2 dealer demo, or a left over 07 from autowest.. with dealer, i only saved 2k, and both cars had over 1000km already (and who knows how those 1000km were driven) .. so i decided on the 07 left over from autowest, which had 7km on the odo. + i got the 2 k off after negotiation. i'd avoid dealer if you could.

I have a 323 and its a good car, but for that price with 35k I would keep looking or get a better price. The premium package is basic compared what you would get in a 328i. If it was my choice I would go back and get a 2006 330i... not a 335 but would defintely fit my needs the best.

Knowing how demo cars are driven, and how bad the economy and car depreciation are right now, I will not pay more than 30k for a demo 323i. If you pay 35k, you're going to lose so much money if you try to sell it again a year from now.
That's a lot of 08 cars still on the lot in mid October...

Brand new 323 is what? 35K right now... so why bother paying that much for a used one year old car ..... if he can offer you a fat discount of say 7K id' go for it. otherwise, forget it, the new model has the facelift, why bother getting an old car at premium price.
