Connecting underseat subwoofer to 1 channel
Hi I bought a Rockford R600X5 which has 1 channel for sub (200W @ 4ohm).
I'm doing research and preparing for wiring and configurations. How would I wire the subs? Can I just connect speaker wires from 2 sub or I have to connect the subs? Kenneth |

You can do it if you want to loose stereo separation in bass
and midbass. But the underseats are not true subs. This is a bad idea in my opinion . |

As already pointed out, running the underseat woofers in mono is not ideal, but if you don't have two free channels you are stuck with the mono option. You should consider upgrading the subs, and in your case the Earthquakes SWS-8 would work, or some used L7 or IA woofers. How you connect them depends on the impedance of the woofers, so let us know what you end up using.
