N54 Block Decking Tolerance

I had my machine shop cut 8 thousandths of an inch off my lower block that I bought from eBay. Though, I still need to cut my head. I already have the thicker head gasket and based on the added thickness of the new head gasket, I can cut a total of 12 thousandths of an inch.

I tried looking for block resurfacing on the n54 from newtis info and can't find anything. Only found warpage limitations on the head.

Can someone help me out here who has experience with mating a block and head off two different engines?
