Today is my first day on v9, when getting on the highway, I gunned it from the on ramp and got a limp... i could tell it was misfiring and not a boost limp. Pulled out my OBD and plugged it up to see a bunch of misfire codes. reset the check engine light as i was driving and it drove OK the rest of the way to work. It did feel a lot better than v8.1. pulls harder than v7 which i like to run daily, but gotta test v9 a lil more.

Yep, good log! not much to critique. 335i or 135i?

Stage 1+ I got cylinder 2 misfire. Felt very smooth until getting into boost. Didn't have any issues with v8, but I will be swapping coils around when it gets warmer to see if it's just the coil as I have new spark plugs and injectors.

Flashed to V9 stage 1+ last night. So far seems very smooth and works well with XhP stage 3. I did have several issues on V8.1 but fingers crossed V9 is better.

It is usually coils... I had the same issue, and went limp mode on 8.0 map stage 1, but I knew my coils were old. I bought a new set, no miss-fires since.

Decided to give v9 a run. https://datazap.me/u/formation/mhd-v9?log=1&data=3-21

Only thing i didn't like was the boost oscillations which you can definitely be felt while it's building. I do love the way it shifts though. Anyone have any idea what changes were made in that regard?

seem to be related to your timing corrections on cylinders 1 and 4... old coils, injectors and or spark plugs? hard to work out unless you swap out one by one.
Or go broke and change them all.

Yeah has new coils/plugs. doesnt really seem like consistant knock so it's possibly false knock.atleast when I was in the subaru community that's was usually the idea. Here is a clean run some minutes after

Today I decided to flash map v9 stage 2+ and everythibg was incredible. Smooth boost build up, power delivery, and with the xhp stage 3 flash the car felt brand new.....for all of 20 minutes. I came home and parked and the idle started to get rough and then threw a misfire code at me. Anyone have any ideas whether this is due to the new map? All plugs and coils were replaced less than 1k miles ago as well as a walnut blast. If it is the map does anyone have a good backup? I've heard a lot of v7

Flashed v9 stg2+ acn and was impressed by how the car felt. Maybe it's just in my head the car felt so much stronger. Last night I filled up with ethanol e49 and really liked how the car felt. Going to have to do some logging to see if my motor is happy. For targeting 18+psi the car felt pretty strong.

MHD gives you the option to flash Map 7.1 if I recall correctly,

I'm sticking to Map 7.1 until V9 is out of Beta, and all problems ironed out.

Thanks I cleared the codes and then took it out for some testing and it honestly has never felt better v9 paired with xhp stage 3 feels like an entire new car and it doesn't stop pulling so the issue sorted itself out I couldn't be more happy with the car. And not a single limp mode after multiple hard pulls

I am also running for almost 2 weeks now on v9.0 beta stage 1+..multiple pulls and it feels very strong to redline. No codes, noting. Just good reliable power.

I went to the V9 today from the V8 on my 335i. It seems to be much better.

here's a E30 log. looks good to me other than the timing corrections up top; im assuming because it's an OTS map. car pulls hard AF

Still going well? I'm considering going from stage 1+ v7.1 to v9

I finally got a few drives on V9 and it is much much better than 8 beta and 8.1 fail for sure, pulls hard and feels more urgent and ready to go down low, so far like it and no issues.
