Hard to say, but if IS mounts are solid rubber I would assume there is no air in it at all.

Here is what the normal mounts look like for sure, someone opened it a part in this thread: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1312318

Thanks man!

I have a few set of these F80 style 335is gauge faces available with the standard 160-340F oil temp. I had this one made one off for me with the M3 oil temp scale.

Here's a couple pics of the ones I have installed in a customer's 335is cluster.

Cool New to Me - 2011 Space Grey - 63K Miles

Hi All,

I recently picked up a 2011 with 63K miles on it. I put on ZCP e46 M3 wheels for now (thinking anthracite is better). I also just ordered e92 M3 Side Skirts which look like they will clip right on. Love the DCT and the boosted power!

Very nice.

Factory M3 side skirts won't fit. You'll need aftermarket M3 skirts made for non M cars.

What's up IS bros/gals?

My original index 9 injectors are kicking the bucket and I have two problems at this point -
recall was for 07-08 335i only, index 8 and lower
extended limited warranty for 10 year / 120,000mi was for (basically) every car except ours.

Has anyone attempted to get these taken care of by BMW in either warranty or recall, and had any luck? The local dealer told me IF (big if) BMW were to retroactively reimburse me if I have them done, it would need to have been done by BMW.

Fun fact: In Canada they want $515 each for these suckers.

I think your best option is to buy them from FCP Euro and install them yourself.
This will give you a lifetime warranty on the parts. Last time I checked they were about $1200 but if you do the install yourself you would save a ton of money.

Yes and that's the route i'll take if I have to, but unfortunately isn't an answer to my question. Everyone seems so quick to shell out the $2000 and DIY, which yes is the best option but doesn't seem fair to a large number of BMW owners.

With that said how good is FCP's warranty? Every other warranty I've dealt with is limited in that they usually point the finger right back at the owner and say something along the lines of "you installed it wrong, and you can't prove you didn't"

I will spell it out for you. By me saying "your best option is",that implies that we cannot get the BMW warranty for them.

The injectors are not $2000, they are $1388.52 https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...-13538616079kt

FCP has a lifetime warranty. If the part breaks, you send it back and get a new one. This includes fluids such as oil or anything. No questions asked.

Look I'm not trying to argue, let me reiterate. I was asking if anyone has tried to get these dealt with via BMW in any fashion. I wasn't asking what my best option is, because to be honest I've given FCP's 6 index 12 injector page about 50 views the last 3 days. I want to do it, but I want to know if I'm at a complete loss for recouping these costs, or if there is an avenue that I can take where BMW will cover it down the road.

I know for a fact that it's still possible our injectors get a recall notice, I just had my 99 Acura TL get a recall letter for a driverside airbag actuator.

It's possible some day they could be covered. I would not wait for it to happen though.

Let's try and diagnose your issue. Why do you think yours are bad?
Have you looked into Index 10 or 11's as a way to cut the cost?

The way FCP warranty works even if you install it wrong or smash it with a hammer the warranty applies. As long as you return the old parts after.

You may want to check back occasionally. I just got this recall notice a couple days ago, free index 12 injectors for me.

There's a new recall that just came out this month for the N54T regarding injectors. The recall should replace them with index 12s.

EDIT: I see LMB posted it already lol. I got that in the mail too.

Not that I've had any issue whatsoever but...if they're giving them away I'll take them lol.

Have you looked into Index 10 or 11's as a way to cut the cost?
My current state of affairs: 95,000km index 9 across the board, I believe the newer/better Delphi ignition coils, and OEM plugs. The previous owner had a carbon cleaning done at 30,000km by BMW. Currently my OCC has no oil in it, it's only been 1000km or so, I didn't expect much.

As of last week: SES light + mixture control + misfires on bank 2. During this initial code I had 4 and 6 both misfire. I had a youtube video induced idea it could be the bank o2 sensor, however unplugging or clearing the codes didn't fix the slightly lumpy idle I have. I eliminated this as a possibility however it could still be problematic. I'm learning how to read o2 graphs and will look into that.

Saturday morning: I pulled injectors, plugs. No foul play, though i spotted slight wetness on the piston head, maybe small leaking. I reset the codes , it idles perfectly fine. I took it for a spin, drives completely fine, let it warm up then gave it approx 50% petal, engine light + mixture control + misfire cylinder 4.

I did some local digging with fuel injector cleaning companies. There's a fella up here who is one of a hand full of guys in NA that has the correct machinery to do piezoelectric injection cleaning. Leave it to BMW and Benz to throw goddamn crystals in an injector. Anyways, he said what he sees the most is fluid separation in these injectors, which eventually leave a residue behind which leads to stickiness, one way or another.

My first step is some injector cleaner. The local guy advised that it would either help, or make it worse. Either way it would confirm it's the injectors 100%.

As for the other replies, I updated BMW Canada with my info and address so if there is any recall to be had, I'll get it.

Looks like you might have perfect timing if there is a recall coming soon as posted above.

What I saw when my injectors were going was a rough stumbling idle and wetness on the plug.
