DYI: Easiest way to get 1b file and generate FSC codes for CIC navi map update

I checked the xml files but sadly I can't create the right additional infos to generate the codes... thanks a lot for this thread!

I need a nav activation code for a brand new cic. Programmed using BMW TIS subscription ISTA/P. Not sure on the map version as I can only select the "input activation code" screen through the idrive. Vin BE54397. Thank you

VIN is old E34 without factory Navigation. If you put CIC in this car, you need much more than just a Map FSC Code. You need a full set of custom VIN Matching FSC Codes (e.g. FSC Codes 1B, 19, & 2D for Navigation & 17 for Voice Control), or use an OEM set of Donor FSC Codes from another VIN along with an Emulator / Activation module.

I can't seem to get it to read the Map Upgrade USB.
2012 E90.

CiC
Currently on Road Map Europe Premium 2011i
101094.2.14

2 x 32GB USB. ALL is formatted in FAT32.
1st USB has FSC Generator files on it, and works sweet.
2nd USB has Road Map West Europe Premium 2024-2 Maps on it. Contains the following...
- pkgdb (folder) with lots of items inside.
- config.nfm

When I insert the Maps USB & turn on ignition, it doesn't load anything. Does NOT prompt me for FSC Code neither. What am I doing wrong ? It's a basic process.
I've tried Format & Copy 3 or 4 times now. Nothing is happening.

You waste your time. FSC Generator cannot make working ROUTE nor WAY Map FSC Codes. PM's sent.

Are you using Glovebox USB Port, not Armrest USB Port?

No idea, but has to be older DVD based version. Flash CIC with WinKFP or Program whole car with ISTA/P.
