ok so since you had the gauges open, can anyone tell me on the tachometer, is those final dashes in the rev limiter area move or do anything? Like on the speedometer size, there is a secondary needle that sweeps in when you set cruise control. It looks like those dashes on the tachometer are also recessed in a track like they could move? Am I going crazy? probably...

ok so it looks like the background of the "track" is black for non M and silver for M. But on the non M, you can see the piece with a few dashes near the tachometer redline. You don't think they move or do anything?
