'11 E90 iDrive buetooth issue

Hey guys, i have just purchased my 1st e90

When i was trying to pair my phone with the car any time i go into telephone menu in iDrive all i get is spinning wheel and "Please wait"

Now the battery in the car looks aftermarket and the dealer(not BMW) i bought the car from confirmed that they had to change the battery as the car wouldn't start.

Also the voice control system does not recognize any voice commands. it does prompt me to say a command but none of the standard ones work.

It also seems that USB multimedia hookup in the armrest is not working as well. i have tried rebooting the iDrive system by holding down volume knob, still nothing.
Also i checked the fuses that are listed for telephone system which seem to be ok.

I have ordered a K+Dcan cable from bimmergeeks to try to see if the module is alive, was just wondering if there's anything else i can check while i'm waiting for the cable to arrive.

Thanks.

Make sure the resting battery voltage is over 12.3 to 12.4
before believing diagnostic results.
Also run your cars Vin on a vin checker so you know what it
actually came with.

You might try to start setting up Standard Tools and
Ista D.

You could look an see which modules you have in the trunk.
TCU/Mulf or combox

I have fixed the issue. I went to check the bluetooth antenna, so i removed the panel under the steering wheel, and noticed that there is a MOST loop connector attached to the panel with MOST wire not plugged in. After i plugged the wire in, bluetooth, voice control, aux all became functional

Did you have radio sound before plugging in the MOST? Currently have the Bluetooth please wait issue. Only radio works and the MOST is plugged in under the steering wheel
