DVD Player Plays Music Discs
2006 330XI with Navigation and Bluetooth, I-Drive
I placed a DVD with MP3 Music burned from my I-Tunes into my DVD slot and It played!!! In addition, the artists and songs displayed on the Screen. The music sounded great, even better than Cd's that I had been playing in the Cd player. Logic 7 System has a great sound , better than my previous Bose system. |

MP3 - Navi Professional - Nero burning Software
Is burning a MP3 DVD or CD-R or RW with Nero, working?
Written many times that it's working and NOT working with Navi Professional + Logic7. I am curious. Pick up the car tomorrow and try. |

Hey I gather from your model of your car that you vehicle is a post-September production vehicle.... Does anyone know if pre-September production vehicles now have this capability if we only record the DVD exactly right? OR could it be that the newer vehicles have a different DVD player that permits the mp3 files to play. Any one have a thought?

I think the simple answer to this is that POST SEPT cars have new HARDWARE in terms of mp3 playability....NOT because of CIP 19.2 or greater !!.....if there are some people who can play mp3's then its only because a very few no of vehicles manufactured got the mp3 playable drives.......now its seems to be the standard for all post SEPT/OCT production cars.
Thats my 2 cents . |
