Where I buy my MP3's there's 3 levels of quality, does it make a difference?

If you get the choice and have a fast enough download speed then I would get the CD Quality 320kbps - you can then use other programs to make the 128 or 192 versions of the file for use on your ipod etc.

There's no point making a 320 file from a 128 source as you've already lost the quality and increasing the bit rate ain't gonna get it back!

Garage List
2011 BMW M3  [9.00]
2008 BMW 335i  [0.00]
2006 BMW 330i  [0.00]
1994 BMW 325i  [0.00]
i agree, if you have the bandwidth and space on whatever device you might be using, go for the higher bit-rate. i can definitely hear a difference between 128 and 192. 192 and 320, unless you're a dog, is very unnoticeable.

also depends what kind of encoder they use. what store are you talking about?

Thanks guys!'
That's reason for question in first place. I use dial up & takes...
forever for the 320 downloads. Yes I plan to go cable in near future.

I use "Roxie Easy CD" to make my MP3's.
I buy downloads from...http://allofmp3.com

Dial-up!!!! Jeez! Stick with the 192kbps! Once you get cable then I'd go for the 320s.
