Silver State Classic
Not sure how many of you have heard of this, but my buddy in Vegas told me about it. Check out the link, and review the rule book posted in the menu on the left. Seems like something pretty cool. Right out of the box, all of us would be eligible for the Touring Class (top speed 124 mph). Other more advanced classes (up to 200 mph) must have varying levels of security, such as: 5 or 6 point harnesses, roll bars, fire suppression, etc. The next class up from Touring is Grand Touring (top speed 140 mph) would require 5 or 6 point harness and window nets in addition to Touring Class requirements. The rule book spells it all out pretty clearly. I may do the September one, the high noon shoot-out sounds cool too.

My friend went 171 mph in his B5 S4 a few years back..and he is 72 years old. He had the rollbar./restraints..and stock tires.
Oh yeah..other than a GIAC chip...the car was totally stock..brake, suspension, exhaust..all stock.
