Yeah we both put money into buying it and plan on sharing the cost of all mods and maintenance. We go to the same high school so we might as well share A car. We both work and although I'm a freshmen and he's a senior the car becomes mine once he graduates as he's going to be staying on campus in college.
Also, I don't think I can PM yet as I'm new to the forum, so any other way I can get in touch with Raja?

First "mod" I'd probably do is swap out the kidneys for black ones. Fairly easy to do and doesn't cost much.

Congratulations!

Thanks! I was just thinking of plasti dipping them, and if I didn't like the matte look I could ad that product that makes plasti dip glossy, but i can't seem to remember the name of it haha.

Congrats & welcome!

I'd suggest...
  1. invest in tools and a workshop manual (prior to mods).
  2. Stash cash for repairs and maintenance.
  3. Try not to buy mods that cost more than you can sell them for once removed. (I.e. used kidneys, used spacers, etc). Note: If you buy used wheels try to get a good deal on a lightweight combo incl. tpms/tires and be sure to get them spun out before finalizing the sale
  4. Research and Enjoy your new ride!

Thanks! The car actually came with a repair manual from the previous owner. I unfortunately don't have a garage, so that limits what repairs I can do to the car in my neighborhood. I luckily have a family friend who is willing to rent me out space and tools in his garage, granted someone else's car isn't being worked on there.
