You don't need to buy 4 new alloys your 19's are ace. One new wheel and replace any illegal tyres should be job done.

Tracking check, maybe but get the service technician to road test the car. They will soon tell you if it needs a tracking check or not.

I'm sure your baby will be fine soon and will all be forgoten in a week or 2.

Yeah i agree, no plans whatsover to replace the 230's i love em too much

It probably does need a KDS but I can't tell

It drives ok, doesn't veer etc - how would I be able to tell if I needed it or not?

Find an even-cambered road, drive at about 25mph, take your hands off the wheel and accelerate gently. Does your car drive straight and true wih the steering wheel in the centre position, or does the car pull to the left or right? Then come off the accelerator and let the car coast - again does the car pull to the left or right? If the car continues straight and true, then in all likely hood you won't need a KDS. Remember the steering wheel must be in the dead centre position - if you need to hold it centre to keep the car going straight, then your alignment is out.

Also, do you feel a significant vibration through the steering wheel at speeds say at 60mph and above? If there's no vibration then the geometry should be fine. If there is then there's probably a slight excess of toe-in, or the camber is slightly out.

Should be Carl yes.

They will call you and ask what the problem is I believe.

If the car is at home they may just suggest taking the wheel off ? I dunno

Sorry about the car.

But a more important question? Could you drive the car home on that runflat or could you have done with a spare wheel?
