Meth Nozzle Size
Running MHD Stage 2+ with 50/50 boost juice going through a single nozzle in my charge pipe. I currently have a D07 (640 ml/min) nozzle and I feel like that is too much for what I have. Would I be better off with a D03 (370 ml/min) or D05 (520 ml/min) nozzle?

AEM V2
Getting some high timing corrections while it is spraying. I am using the standard tune not setup for meth. My AFRs are fairly normal under WOT @ 12.3ish.

I feel like I have other issues as well. The way I have it set up is wrong. TMAP is not in direct path of charge pipe air / meth because of the boost adapter. Planning on taking out the boost adapter that is between the TMAP and charge pipe so the TMAP can sit back in the charge pipe. I am going to tap the boost from the second meth bung. It has been throwing off my real IAT readings (IAT reading double the ambient temp) since the boost adapter is acting like a heat sink. I also believe that meth is pooling up inside the boost adapter where the TMAP is sitting and messing with how it is reading the boost. (I had meth coming out of the boost line going into my AEM controller.) I have been trying to stay out of boost so the meth isn't triggering. various logs in 3rd and 4th gear are below.

If you are getting lots of timing corrections....doesn't that mean that you aren't spraying enough meth? Why do you think you are spraying too much?

I am using boost juice. I have tried between 7 psi and 10 psi and go max at 14 psi. I had one good log where it hit 18 psi at lower rpm and at 5500 rpm it was at 15.5 or 14.5 psi.

If the corrections were later in the log then yes it would indicate that there isn't enough octane. If it were right when methanol started spraying then it could indicate too much volume or poor atomization.

I believe the volume and octane are too high which is causing it to run rich. My stfts start at 0 then drop to over -20% which would indicate that it is too rich. I may go the custom tune route to smooth out the STFTs and hopefully in return it will correct my timing issues.

You can also try going to a higher concentration of methanol to see if timing corrections get better. You should be 100% spray by 10 PSI. Quote:
Also what kind of charge pipe and where are the methanol bungs? |

I recently removed the boost adapter installed at the TMAP (to put the TMAP back in the direct path of the charge air / meth spray) and added a 90° vacuum line fitting at my second meth bung on my VRSF charge pipe to tap the boost. The bungs are 180° from each other. The dinan boost adapter is too large to fit at the manifold MAP sensor location. I don't think I would be able to put the cowling back on.
