you're 100% right.
Aluminium looked not very clean on a white car (due to the design), so i decided to go matte black.

they are the same, 2 times cleaned (due to some bad borders), and 2 time paint.
Nice wheels that let them be paint and paint and paint ...

Took these, a few days ago. Ironically I didn't get a side-profile shot, which I think is the sexiest view of this car.

Nonetheless! Here's Das Wagen.

Yes these are all taken with a wide-angle lens. I'm still tinkering with one I got, recently (Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.8 HSM).

Open wide!

"Spank, the Monkey" takes up residence.

Bought it on June 27, and so far so good! 47K miles, well-cared for and super clean. Wish it was a stick and/or had the Sport package, but oh well, can't have everything in life. Already have my eye on the Turner Motorsports package with the Bilstein struts and H&R springs. We'll see...

don't tint the tail lights. they look fine. it will end up looking like you tried too hard. plus, those lights are strictly for safety. better just to leave them. if anything, tint the windshield to blend with the sides.

Dam.... It had been fun to see that car on the side of mine. To see the real difference with performance front and the look with out rails. Look god.

Here is a rear shot. Not the best, but you can see how I did it. The idea I got in dubai. I saw an x5 with tail lights like that. It was a black one, but my car was also black when i did. Now that it is white i have been thinking of standard blackline lights, with a bit more tint on. But it looks ok as it is for now also.

Well, the four-door German baby got some new shoes, and other styling mods, so wanted to share with my fellow E91 owners/appreciators.

And sorry, but have to vent here. In the middle of my little photo shoot, a guy in a Chevy Trailblazer put his boat into the water, and then proceed to park his truck and trailer directly behind my car, right in frame. Note, at this point, there was no other car in the entire parking lot, and he could have parked anywhere else without issue! When I asked if he could move his truck, he went off on me and called the E91 "crappy" and bitched about me being there, and refused to move his truck. May karma get him back in spades, because I sure as hell had the temptation to slash his truck tires while he and his friends were in the middle of the lake
