BTW, in the strut tower brace kit I supply, you won't have an issue with the studs not clearing the cowling(if you do, it's very minor)as I supply the correct number of bolts and have the brace pre-assembled to eliminate any confusion where to use the studs with nuts and bolts.

Cool, well I actually got the idea from you before I installed it becasue you were saying how the OEM studs hit the cowling so I picked up the bolts before hand.

When you did the alignment, what specs did you ask them to duplicate: the M3 specs or the 335i specs?

I also think your aligment pin is removed, correct?

I believe that the only adjustment for the front is the toe.
So, the alignment was done with the 335 specs.

I know I will.
I went to the strip the other day and had to slow down quick after the 1/4 mile to make the turn. When I made the turn, I was still doing something like 40 and I swear I was on fricken rails and the steering wheel didn't even budge!

I would love to know what would be like by just installing the Tension link only without upgrading the Wishbone link. Too bad you would not know cause you installed all parts at one time. Anyway what would be your guess?

Better feedback from your suspension. Alignment caster setting stay more or less where they are. Better stability under braking and cornering.

That is partially correct. Given that the lower arm is longer with the M3 version, you have systematically added more negative camber even though the car was aligned with "335" specs.

I know, and agree.
I was saying that they cannot adjust the camber although I added negative camber.

What I'm saying is that the toe was only adjusted and was adjusted to 335 specs, not M3 specs. I don't even know what the M3 specs are as far as the toe is concerned. They could be the same.

I'm abit confused about the camber now...so what's the front camber after the alignment? And did you remove the top pin for more camber?

First off, I have no idea with what you are talking about with the "top pin".
Will you explain what you mean by this?

The camber in both the 335 and the M3 is fixed.
But, the wishbone for the M3 is longer than the 335 wishbone, so when I installed the M3 wishbone, it made the bottom part of the tire stick out farther than the top.
The M3 wishbone added negative camber.

When I got the alignment done, the alignment guy said that I was still in 335 spec, but barely.
The camber for the front should be between -.9 to -.2 degrees.

When my alignment was done after my BMW Performance Suspension install, my camber was measured at -.3 degrees.
The guy at the shop said that my camber was around -.9 degrees after the M3 wishbones were installed.

There is an easier way to gain more camber, up to -0.75.

I'm not too sure about the technical details, but Orb told me there's a pin at the top of the strut perch or something that can be remove to gain more camber. But when I had my alignment done, the guy told me it's not safe and he's not responsible for whatever happens, so I didnt ask him to remove it.
