girls like BMW badges, pretty colours and stickers.

they wouldn't know an M3 if they were shagged in the backseat of one.

but not really. I still have another 4 yrs to keep paying for the car, and if you look back, I haven't had a go at you about this because frankly it would be hypocritical. I do pay for everything to do with the car though so we're not alike there. I just wanted to beat bmroxm5 to it.
i actually own my car so i guess theres a marked difference there aswell.

Map1 is set at 13psi and Map2 set 15psi on the new V5 N54 software, but more power down low and same power up top but buttery smooth delivery like n/a,its transform the car even better.

Does the stock intercooler and turbos of the 335/135 support/handle 15psi or do you need to upgrade them?

woah wtf happened here since I posted!!

xsboost, that sounds like a really good price to pay for your car!
I'd be looking at around the 75k mark right now for an 08 model onwards with less than 50,000kms.

I don't think I can make it work financially right now though (upgrade to 335 that is). Have to wait a little while longer.. or maybe my e90post stickers will start selling like iPods

rossi, I know the 335 is slightly heavier but with that much torque I don't believe it'll make that much difference. I'd be going the whole hog anyway and do intercooler, downpipes, exhaust system.

Speedwise, I'm pretty sure a tuned N54 is faster than a stock M3? Although I do concede the M3 has the whole package, handling etc.

John, I agree with you though that our cars/engines have enough power for everyday driving. I'm happy with my car about 87% of the time, it just needs a little bit more low down torque and I'd be happy about 92% of the time lol.

A stock N54 will handle 16psi on 98 ron. With a few bolt ons, 18-18.5psi.

Bye bye M3 ...although we all secretly want one

I like Shiv's run of 11.5 while designing the older V4 maps. I believe it's no longer a record

bye bye M3 like these 2 vishnu 335's vids? And its not even DCT!

Id love to see the 335 keep up with the M3 on the twisties or the track

Seriously though a modified skyline, could beat a stock M3 in a straight line.

Hmmm, but really, 40kg isn't much of a weight difference....but you'll have a wider track, longer wheelbase and most importantly, the shape you like! Obviously I'm NOT biased! Lol

Saferisk your car is an exception to the 335 vs M3 debate!

Currently running 16psi with stage 3 mods, with meth 18psi. That was on procede V4 maps, funnily just uploaded the new v5 beta maps and I'm definitely making more power on only 15psi now!

Lol, I liken it to the natural versus plastic debate! I mean finding a gal with double ds and nice body, who knows all the tricks of the trade versus getting a gal with nice body, paying for her boob job and then teaching her the tricks! Haha

There is a small but important chasm betwixt M3 and M-sport 3er chassis.
