This is how the M3 should of been. 200 pounds lighter with the twin turbo V8 from the X5M/X6M
well, that looks like you'll need to change the engine? Doesn't qualify as a fair mod v/s the 335 and you could possibly transplant a similar engine into the 335 too to get that performance

Quote:
Just to recap the basic idea is this: Take the FI engine from the X5M/X6M, transplant it into the E92 M3, do some ECU work and then throw on a new exhaust. This is a tried and true method of tuning that has been done to many an M3 throughout time. Typically some unit from an older sibling M5 is taken and put into the M3 chassis to make a beastly combination of power and handling.

Which post? I haven't deleted anything. I'm sorry that I was out working making some money and not sitting on a forum. There is proper discussion going on here and despite your supposed good education you lack basic english comprehension.

I'm glad you're happy you have your name to a car you don't pay anything for. I'm happy not having my name on a car I do pay for. Also... notice the "yet" in the post you quoted from my first thread?

Doesn't it make sense that I don't own the car until I have actually paid for it? Technically muzzas on loans don't even own their cars, BMW or the banks do.

whew, that's expensive, is that what a similar kit would cost in the US too or is it just an Oz markup?

The 135 is amazing; I test drove one and fell in love with it.. except i never really liked the shape of it.

The 335 is amazing the Procede really made it comparable to the 135 in terms of responsiveness and power.

It's not just a 50kg difference if you get a convertible .. so keep that in mind. I've ran a couple of (stock) 135s and I've been beaten them all.. even with the hardtop weighing me down... just goes to show how good the procede really is in getting more power out of the 335s.

There isnt much markup i dont think

Version 1 with Supercharger 535 VT1 (NON Intercooled) ~US$8995
Akrapovic Titanium Evolution exhaust ~US$6000
Brembo front and rear brakes ~US$8000
H&R Spring kit ~US$300

Parts alone are ~US$23000. This doesnt even include shipping or tax into Aus

Then i guess the rest is all on the following
Installation ?
ECU Tune and dyno runs ?

The one thing that sux about owning an M is the "M tax"......

Sorry to our 1er mates but it is ugly compared to the e9x's, especially the e92. I don't mind the 135 vert.

Sill think the previous Z4 was one of the sexiest BM's ever.

The E92 coupe with right wheels, stance and 'kit is sexy as.

The 1er coupe unfortunately is a bit average. Interiors too are vastly different.

Not going to make a move on anything soon, maybe wait till I get a new job.

In the meantime, I'm gonna add a few ponies to my N52 via tune (and headers possibly).

Mmm... I love the 1'er for the fact that it goes and the 135 seems to be a cheap buy for what it is BUT I love the e92 shape much more~ Just personal preferences I suppose but i do wish I had the cash for a 335...
