2011 328i race car - JustPete
2011 BMW 328i race car Perfect car for SCCA STU, NASA GTS, WRL, AER, or track days. Dealer/ race team built and maintained from day one and no expense was ever spared. 44k on the tub (was originally a company car when Pete started down the path). Never hit. Less than 5000 miles since 2015. Less than 10 total track days, never wheel to wheel. Less than 1000mi on valvetrain, diff, axles. 1/2 day shakedown at MSR Cresson in 4/19 to break in diff, Chad I settings in rebuilt rear dampers, and systems check as car had not seen the track in several years. This is the justpete car and the history, with photos, can be easily traced here on the E90 forums. Pete passed away in 2018 and I purchased the car from his family this spring. Change of job forces sale. See Headers and Mounts thread on N52 page for current photos. Includes six spare wheels. 2x 18” Apex wheels w/ new Toyo track tyres and 4x OEM Motorsport logo’d wheels w/ new Pirelli RFT tyres. Also includes stock rad and small box of misc bushings. This car, as it sits, would cost about $160k to duplicate. If i had the extra $10k sitting around, I would convert to Motec and call it a day. Asking $35k and willing to discuss reasonable offers. Title is clear and in hand. Car is currently garaged in Austin, TX. That's a bit of a sleeper from the outside.
Love it! GLWS!

Biginboca thanks. I’m hoping that a couple things turn for the better and I don’t have to sell the car. I’m open to discussing reasonable offers, but I can’t lose my shirt on the deal. A search on racingjunk.com prices this in the same ballpark as E36 M3’s or Spec E46 cars that are not nearly as clean and well prepared as this car.
The car, as currently set up, is super easy and forgiving to drive. It’s the perfect WRL/ AER set up for a newer driver to go racing with some friends. To be STU competitive, it’d need to be changed around a bit.

I hope justpete's car goes to a good home. It's more than just a highly modified E90 owned by a great guy...it's a bit of forum history.

I hope so too. Quite frankly, I’d take significantly less $$ for the car to keep it amongst family. I’m open and happy to work out something here before putting the car out on the open market. For now, it’s only been advertised here and on the E90 FB group (and I think that group is 80% in the UK).

Bump. Willing to discuss reasonable offers. Given the history of this car within the E90 community, I’d like to see it go to a loving home.
