Transfer Case leaking - actuator?

Hey Everyone,

When changing my oil the other day, I noted a wet spot on the transfer case / transmission support bracket. Looking closer I definitely have an oil leak from the transfer case. I tried to identify where it's coming from but it was hard to tell without getting my vehicle up higher/removing the support bracket.

I attached a few pics, wondering if anyone has any thoughts or input. I tried to do some researching but I didn't find anything definitive on what is the most common/likely leak point on the transfer case.

I'm hoping its the o-ring that seals the actuator motor to the transfer case. The motor and bracket are definitely wet and looking up above it, the rear output shaft looked dry.

I'm going to try to the car up higher to see a little better. Would prefer not to remove support bracket to figure it out only to install it and remove it again to fix whatever is leaking.

Thanks!

And what is the smell on the oil ...?
Not much = engine oil.
Bad smell : TC or transmission...

The actuator is so high that you can take it out without any spill...
