Replacing the center strip on the door card because a terra brown with sunshade is hard to fine.
Also replaced the clip that pulls the shade up.

Wow. Hex trim. That's pretty rare on a 335. You are lucky! The trim ring is what is standard on a pre-LCI though.
The metal ring also comes on the e92 and e93 I think. I replaced mine with a red button few months back but it looks terrible because it peeled around it so I've been looking to buy the better looking button just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I also have the hex trim in my 335 didn't know it was rare.

Yes, you don't see the hex trim in a 335 very often if at all.

Mostly 335is or M3

Finished up the ram air intake. Unfortunately had to sacrifice the drivers brake duct due to having the ACS lip. I don't track the car so I don't think it'll be much of a problem.

Edit: More pics. Painting the lip and cleaning up my "prototype" lower mesh hopefully in the next couple weeks

I'll update the pics with what it looks like on the outside tomorrow. For now, here it is
What fittings did you use for the hose?

Also curious why you didn't dremel out the diamond pattern on the outer panel part or purchase the factory fully open panel that bmw sells(and dinan uses for their kits). Then you would keep your brake duct

I see you're driving a 325i, so maybe they don't have this heat wrap. I know 335i's have it.

Either way keep an eye out.

Funny enough this whole project started because I found two unused desk hole grommets from my work. lol. Those are my fittings.

And I explained why I couldn't cut through outer panel in the original post

Well it's taken more than a day, but...
Fixed rear sway mounting
Repaired some paint scratches
Decided what's really wrong with my tailgate
Intake cbu clean
New glow plug controller
2x pressure converters
New vac lines
Clean and reseat seals at the bottom of the windscreen
Bleed brakes
CDV delete and bleed clutch (MC rebuild too)
M3 radius rod inner bushings
M3 wishbones
Xdrive strut tops
M3 steering rack
PS reservoir & fluid change/flush
Track rods & track rod ends
Front sway droplinks
Front sway mounts

...I think that's it. Feels like someone else's car!

Recent times have given me motivation to get a lot of maintenance done.

Finished replacing the alternator, accessory drive pulleys and belt, oil filter housing gasket, oil pan gasket, new belly pan since the last one was spoiled with oil from the pan leak, and in the process learned that my power steering pump was missing the front bolt completely and the rear was loose so replaced those.

The car now has had every single piece of regular and preventative maintenance completed and should be ready to go for quite some time. Very exciting and rewarding to have it all finished!

Put my summer tires on. Put stage 2+ back on & put xHp stage 2 v3.0 on.

Took her for a spin. I know you have to drive it 50 miles before the TCU finally Adapts. So, I didn't push it really hard. However, I did push her up to 5000 rpms once all the fluids got nice and warm.

I always put the car at stage 0 for the winter months & run snow tires till April 1.

Car seems smooth as silk with new 3.0 version of Xhp. I won't know until I get 50 miles in so I ca really push it and get a log or two.
