@dmikhael619 Gotcha, makes sense. Few questions, if you don't mind!
1)Is there any specific version the tablet needs to be on? "marshmallow", "lollipop" etc? I read through this entire thread, and it seems there are some versions that had some issues... also it seems "Timur's kernel" is free now... 2)Is this the kernel I would use https://www.reddit.com/r/timurskerne...r_android_601/ 3) How would the sound quality compare using your original DAC method VS Rockfish Bluetooth Device you mentioned above? 4)Lasty, in this thread you posed somewhere you going to post another separate "build thread", can you link me to that? Thank you kind sir; very creative setup indeed |

Also I would rather have a better tablet something like 8 inches with a 4k display I use a samsung 8.4 pro for MHD Flasher and my JB4.
^^^^ EDIT THIS* I just picked up a Verizon Nexus 7 2013 model in great shape with case and all for $99 free shipping via Ebay and it looks like I can add my device with unlimited data for only $20 a month on this unlimited plan I currently have with verizon (thats what it looks like). So I may stick with this for the time being. I should also note I use Bluetooth for audio with the usb Bluetooth firefly thing I picked up on amazon it uses one of the 3 2.4 AMP charging ports for power. Been thinking about buying the bluetooth adapter for the JB4 but man thats $150 and I have been spending way to much on this modded car lately. Still would rather have it able to be connected to the Nexus 7 and have charging too. This is a spring summer fall car only btw. Thanks Last edited by mightbaal; 04-03-2017 at 05:22 AM.. |

I also upgraded to the LG G pad 3, with a data plan, my Spotify was taking up too much space.
This tablet works with no kernel because it has a full size USB port for audio out and a regular micro USB for charging, if you still want USB Audio out then a tablet like this is the way to go if your upgrading from the N7 |

Ok so I bought this
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So correct me if I am wrong just plug that main into my 2.4 Amp car charging port and plug the JB4 into one of the ports and the other cable that goes into the port to the Nexus 7? I bought a bunch of cables lol i'll figure it out I am pretty sure.

Where did you guys find a 6ft micro USB extension cable that is angled? I can find some on Amazon or eBay that are 6ft but not angled and some that are angled but too short...nothing that is both 6ft and angled!

Anyone know if the Samsung S2 tablet supports otg+power? I lost my Nexus 7 but verizon let me put insurance on it. When I lost it the insurance said they are not in production anymore. They low balled me with a Samsung Tab E but I told them the specs are not as good and they asked what I would like so I said the Samsung S tab is closer spec wise. They talked to the manager and came back and said they can send me a Samsung S2 tablet with the same $99 deductible I have with the Nexus 7 so I was ok (knowing the S2 is worth a ton more). But I was wondering if the S2 supports OTG+ Power or if someone made a Kernel for it as I can only find Nexus 7 Kernels for that?

Hey guys forgive me but I'm having trouble figuring this whole thing out haha. I've rooted my Nexus7 but not sure how to install the kernel. Can I do it on the Nexus alone or do I need a computer?
