I was robbed by hexon who sold me twins that lasted maybe 500mi.. too much hassle and cost to replace twins when u arent the one doing said labor... ill rebuild em and sell them for cheap.

Went and read so much on heat wraps for headers after reading this. Pure genius of the science behind why its better to get headers coated , inside and out! Right away something clicked in my head and said , I think the excessive heat will melt the welded areas in such a high heat application . $.02 goes a long ways, priceless...

Latest update... Car is about 90% complete but ran into a small snag and 1 thing I did not prefer.

1st I would love to see how fold run their o2 sensors off the downpipe, the o2 sensors were pointed straight down to the floor which spells disaster for my ride height... bought 2 90* bungs to have them pointing elsewhere

The other issue I ran into is that I guess going with the smallest option on3 turbo to just get the kit, I was provided with an oil line adapter that was too small for the 6266. also purchased an AN10 oil adapter to hopefully compensate, none of which I know will work officially until tomorrow whenever the shop says. but just by look the mechanic says it seems to be they right fittings now to proceed...

also the oil return plug was too small from on3, but I believe the shop will take care of this for me.

lol those damn o2 sensors. The placement is horribleeeeeee. Good luck with the rest of the install. I might ditch my 61mm on3 for a 6266 or 6466.

That placement for the rear o2s looks disappointing...I've only ever seen this be the norm, for reasons mentioned in the article:

I'll get walked by everything during the summer with only 610whp lol. I'll need 800 and a 6466 will get me there.

i think he was talking about the 02 placement.

Generally, O2 sensors need to be in the upper portion of the pipe with the sensor facing down towards the pipe and at an angle. Dont want it in the very top due to heat, and dont want it at or below center-line due to the possibility of condensation which can damage the sensor or provide false readings.

Grand_hustle17 are you sure that pipe is in right side up? I cant imagine any company would knowingly put O2 sensors like that

yeah couldnt tell where the flanges were on it from the pics.

Definitely something that needs to be fixed. Have the shop doing the install weld some bungs on the top side and plug those.
