Is this a good deal and does this fit? Help needed please

Hi I have a e92, the stockers are some beat curbed oem 17s, i just got the car, so i need new wheels stat. These wheels/tires I'm thinking about buying are from a 2010 m3, but obv was meant for a rwd vehicle. I called the guy and explained how mine is awd, he didn't know the answer either if these rims/tires will harm my awd. Anyone chime in please heres the link to them, and also, is this a good deal? I like oem wheels, the only aftermarket ones that I like are silly expensive so thats out the question lol

The tires will work for you since they are the same size front and rear(that's not the correct rear tire size for an m3 btw). I don't know if the rims will fit because he didn't list the wheel width or offset.

yeah I think i might go the tire rack option, get it right, theres gotta be a good set of aftermarkets and tires for under 1500ish right? 18s? Decent tire.... I called the guy back on craigslist i can meet him tomorrow and look at them in the morning I'll measure everything, IF i don't order some aftermarkets, the ones I like of course are $500 a wheel.. I immensely dislike black no pun intended, seems like a lot of black options for wheels on tire rack.com
Any ideas what would look good on my car, I'd really like the bmw center cap to fit on them as well, pic of the car

Craigslist deal rims/tires $1300, but he'll take a grand he just doesn't know it yet

Those two plus a 1"1/2 drop.. be looking good imo..

Rwd or awd the rims won't matter. It's the fit, in this case the offset you need to worry about. They will stick out further. You do not need special rims for awd. If they don't work I'd get a nice set I'd 18 or 19inch staggard rims and if you have winter driving get snow specific tires, put them on your 17s, and use the 17s as your winter rims.

Also tire rack has closeouts. I got my breyton rims there for $600 for all 4 instead of $1,200. Or you could go with one of the cheaper cast ones you find on here. VMR, apecs, etc. Good bang for the buck. But there is nothing, zero, special about rims or tires that you need to think about for awd. As long as front to rear is similar diameter about 25-26" outer diameter, and the fit, you're good.

95% sure those are style 270. 8X18 et 20.

Should be fine with 235 tires and the fit should be pretty good, too.

Awesome, I'll be checking them out tomorrow morning. Thanks for that link, this is about what it would look like.

Looks like he might be running 19's with a drop, but gives me a idea.

Imo go for super sports over the Potenzas, otherwise a 35mm tire on an 8.5 inch wheel should be great for AWD. Imo, stick to 18 inches for better performance and a more balanced look.

Update, bought the m3 wheels

Bought the wheels/tires, the tires and rims were practically new, I got the package for $1200. The tire shop thought it was a steal, the wheels/tires the guy used for one season (3 months). And his m3 was not his daily driver. I knew I struck a good deal when I pulled up to his very nice house with a couple porsches in the driveway. Anyway here's how they look on the car, and trust me the reflector cover his on order, what a ugly piece they stuck on the bumper. The front wheel well is a tad higher than I'd like, be nice if a half inch maybe inch drop in the front...? That's for later but for now I'm pretty happy. What you guys think, looks good??
Before....

After

Looks great. Look into SP lowering perches to drop that front end about 1/2 an inch. Reasonable price and shouldn't have any negative effects on handling.
