OE or aftermarket ballast?
I don't have adaptive light just regular xenons so I don't think coding is required for replacement, correct?
My ballast blew so bought a used one and it doesn't work either. Anyone try those $50 amazon or eBay ones from China? Trying not to spend $400 on new OE one. Thanks.

FWIW I had the same dilema first on my E39 and then later on my E46. I just bought the cheap ebay modules at 10% the price of OEM, figuring even if I replace one per year I could go 10 years on the price of the OEM one. Several years later without a failure I guess I lucked out.
Normally I buy OE parts, but for this I thought it was worth a shot. YMMV |

Does yours the say GX-e90 on it instead of Mitsubishi? I'm set to buy a used working one tonight for $40. If and when it goes out I'll probably buy a new one
