Man I recently had an e46 after my e92....could not cope with the power... was mapped on a fairly extreme map prior to me purchasing it...the whole drive train would vaibrate/grumble when giving it some 😂😂

The old e92 was a m57 but was mapped dpf delete etc etc never gave me any bother used to drive it like I stole it. From memory it was around 280-290bhp and 600nm.

I’m fairly sure my current lci n57 e92 will cope with a moderate map but delving into hybrid turbos I think it may need a better clutch and dmf etc.

Any one know what the max torque figure is for transmission dmf etc etc?

In fact, driving his car with the LSD meant that on corners that I would otherwise have to back off slightly (inside wheel would lift slightly), his car I could keep it pinned.

Do you need an LSD? No.... But I would imagine the vast majority of folks here who have mapped motors are also (sensibly) keen drivers and would likely benefit from the additional control offered by an LSD....
I had a quaife lsd fitted to mine because of the reasons you have mentioned. Also trying to get a spirited set off in the wet was hilarious. TC light flashing away all the way into 3rd gear. The quaife made the car way better in my opinion but wasn’t cheap!

Im currently running hybrid turbo on my E91 N57. Turbo is rated to 400hp. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F292326044937

Setup is downpipe, intercooler, hybrid turbo and last time I did a dyno the result was 381hp and 705nm.

Stock turbo feels abit more aggressive with the faster spool but when the hybrid is spooled up you feel Way more power and it keeps going.

Its an auto.

depends who is tuning it,and state of car, also what rolling road it goes on as most are just calibrated to inflate figures,,thats why you need a cpouple of stock runs to see what bhp it is,,and if it read higher than stock numbers then its false,,or you get mosrt tuners saying...oh its already got a map on it,,but its crap so we will map it properly,,,nope it aint got a crap map on it ,itd the false dyno,,seen it too many times,,my e90 said 254 on a stock run,,tuner said it had a shit map on it,,bullshit,,

On stock parts, realistically around 310 BHP..... Anything more would require a pretty aggressive remap with increased risk of component failure. Best to go Hybrid if that sort of power is not enough for you....
Injectors I'm not sure about, AFAIK I've not heard of anyone replacing them even with a Hybrid Turbo so they must be good for 350+ BHP....

I was told the injectors can go 400+ hp.

Mine did around 335 hp with stock turbo but with downpipe.
I think 310-320 hp stock.

Sounds about right, the injectors should be good for my pending turbo upgrade then! Will be keeping the DPF in place though so I reckon I'll be looking at around 360-370Bhp.... That should keep me entertained for a bit

My stock run was 197, when it should be 204, so was happy with my result of 290bhp
That was fresh air filter and fuel filter.
Although I’ll get another map on it at some point but may wait for a few years till I get ones of these turbos

My 335d manual runs all stock 330d parts, it runs 378bhp and 740nm.
The 330d parts are well up to the job,

Saxon motorsport in Hereford use these boxes when they map their race cars on the dyno, apparently sequential boxes don't like being thrashed on dyno's, that's what they told me when a bought my box of them.
