It was one of the girls here at work going away HH last night. I don't know why they call it Happy HOUR though -- I got there at around 6:00 P.M., we left around 1:30 A.M. -- and my ass didn't get home till 4:00 A.M. Yeah, I'm at work running on about 4 hours sleep.

We made it to the local Micky D's just before 2:00 to stuff our yaps. Honestly, they need to make the local IHOP 24/7.

Car will probably be in my hands as of next weekend at the earliest, and probably the following week.

The new Ashburn IHOP isnt 24/7??? I was hoping to make some late night appearances there...

Nope, we tried it last Thursday around 2:30 A.M. Was closed :mad: Not too many 24HR joints in and around Ashburn -- at least none that I'm aware of.

Whose up for a drive on Feb 10th??? If I extend the route to include wineries, it could be about 1:45 round trip. But Im sure there are some fantastic roads along the way...

Here is a quick map I pulled off the LC website:

Tentative route from Ashburn:

- Travel south on route 659 (Belmont Ridge Road) to route 50 to Middleburg
- Right on St. Louis Road (route 611)
- Left on Snickersville Turnpike to Bluemont
- Route 7 to some backroads out to Hillsboro and a stop at the Breaux Vienyards
- Return on Route 9 to Route 7.
- Food break at Moes Southwest Grill on Rt. 7 in Leesburg (my favorite place to eat)

Mapquest says its about 1:45 driving time and 71 total miles.

Best meeting place would be the Food Lion Shopping Center in Ashburn:

43930 Farmwell Rd
Ashburn, VA 20147

Your thoughts???

I think we should consider Middleburg Old Town as the final early Lunch-Stop to make the drive more memorable .. that rustic place is awesome. Im sure we can find some nice place there to hang out and enjoy the nice day, sipping our wine and having cordob bleu or maybe the local gas station eat n run

Middleburg Old Town has nice backdrop for photos with all our BMWs... but nothing compared to those rich folk's Carreras or AMGs of crse
