Words fail me. There's nothing that can be said that hasn't been said already. It just really ticks me off that there are people like this out there. But then there are rapists, murderers and paedophiles too I guess... It's the very, very small minority who are just jealous, tapped in the head loonies, who don't like what others have and have worked hard for.

yuppp! forgot to mention that... the rear section could be knocked out but had to be sanded down... the middle section couldnt be knocked out so they had to use filler

Holy crap. I was shocked when I saw this, at first I thought it was just a broken windscreen but then I looked closer and read all the posts. Crazy mate, so sorry to hear and see this.

Idiots and wasters will always walk the earth, but fair play for you to keep it calm and move on. Looking forward to seeing this progress.

As an aside from filling the roof, can you not locate a part from a breaker, and use that? If you are going to wrap it anyway, the colour won't really matter and it means it is a solid part and not filled etc. Just a thought, not sure how viable it would be.

yeah it was quoted to be around 8.5g to fix from insurance so quite a lot of damage lol

and yeah i really didn't want to use filler either but to get a used roof unit in good condition is around a grand and then installation + respray (has to be resprayed because i'm taking off the wrap to sell) would be another 500ish... no point when the dings were little... very little filler was used anyways

i was actually thinking about this... the fronts would be an easy swap but the rear would be hard... it would be easier to cut up, weld and shape them into bigger fenders... but tbh i really don't have the money for this now lol... i'm just gonna roll and slightly pull the rears to fit the wheels in next week

i think friday the parts will be here (bank holiday has messed everything up)... then i think, by wednesday, the car should be good to drive off... then some time in the first week of may the rewrap will happen and also the new wheels
