So i am 3 days from buying the engine, the msv70 can make my n52n from 2010 running.
I downloaded the flash file from bimmerlaps for the 330i with the maf delete.
If i match the isn from cas and mde and flash te dme with the maf delete file i Will run without problems ?

Ah, didn't know powerclass was in the CAS too.

I see now the engine is from a 125i, but a n52n30a.
Will the dme from a 330i make this a 330i or do i have to change other parts like the intake manifold ?

you will need the 3 stage manifold probably.

I think the wiring for the cas should be the same, but it would be a good idea to spend some time in the TIS.

Will the engine work without the 3 stage manifold ?

Just with the 330i dme, so i can change manifold at later time ?

yeah it will work fine. you'll have reduced power and error codes for the missing DISA valves though.

Just one disa valve is missing i guess ?
Will this make a change of 40 hp ?

The 325i have 218 hp for what i know.

Thinking of just look for the older engine with 258hp would be a lot simpler..
The thing is i think i can get a lot more power from the n52n than the n52....

As long as it's the B30 it makes no difference. The only change is software and the intake manifold.

It will run like a somewhat upgraded 325i. Basically the DISA valves won't do anything (obviously), but you still get more valve lift, VANOS tweaks, full throttle opening, ignition, etc.

with only 218hp I am not sure of that. Unless it's really an N52B25?

Since he's from the netherlands, he may indeed have a 3-stage 2.5L

Yes, that is the big DISA. If it has only one DISA I strongly suspect it's an N52B25.

Do you have the donor car VIN or serial number? That's the best way to tell.

Looks like the donor is a 125i. Which is an oddball in that it came with a 3.0L engine with the 3 stage manifold but was tuned to 215hp anyway.

Those can be flashed to full 130i spec without issue and it should be no more trouble running said engine off an than any other n52

I wonder... if the 3-stage intake was something added later.

more importantly, this will all work out with my msv70 module. assume that the msv70 module has never added the ability to control the disa since it was never made for that

PS:
when I search by vin number at the bmw webshop, it indicates that there is a 3 stage air intake on my block.
