Pure Turbos stage 1 is leaking

I had a PT S1 installed 7 years ago in my 2011 335i MT. When I took into the garage, they said the turbo is leaking oil. I called PT and left a message and also sent an email but haven't heard back. Are they still in business? I'd like to swap my PT S1 for another, hopefully at a reduced rate since they can probably re-use the billet wheel.

My garage (Lindsey Bimmer Service) is recommending Vargas S1 as they have installed a few of these. I still remember the issues with Vargas S1 many years ago so I am hesitant to do that, though perhaps they have fixed the issues.

I think their warranty is one year/unlimited mileage so I doubt they will be able to help in that regard but I do seem to recall that they (or maybe it was another company) would give discounts when upgrading from stage 1 to stage 2, etc. That would be awesome if they'd help you out like that!

IMO Pure is a better turbo than VTT but I've heard some good things about VTT too so maybe not a bad way to go especially if their warranty was better than Pure's.

The turbo upgrade rebate was a Pure Turbos thing but that ended a long time ago. It was a promo to sell more PS2.
