Retrofit an ANDROID head unit (navigation) onto a car that never had nav?
I have a 2011 335D without nav,
I'm curious as to what would be needed, if possible, to retrofit an android head unit aswell as swap the non-nav dashboard with a nav dashboard, essentially bypassing any the ccc or cic

It's been done on the stereo sub forum but I don't know why you would do that.
Since you can add a piggyback android unit. But all these cheap android units are just that cheap android units with no support. If it doesn't have Nav already you can just put in a double din or single din aftermarket unit or one that fit's on the dash no need to change the dashboard . See the stereo sub forum.
