LUX 189 Angel Eye installation tip

Hello e90 people!
Fun fact: A lot of people in these forums probably know this (I didn't) but when installing the replacement angel eye bulbs the driver side bulb unlocks in the opposite direction meaning clockwise loosens it, counter-clockwise tightens. This issue added 10 mins of frustration. Probably should have read the directions.

Never tried those. Not worth the hassle of them burning out after 12 days.

Definitely not worth what they cost. Illuminate the inner ring but not the outer ring. Shoddy customer service.

I would recommend a headlight build, or if looking for something cheaper Amazon lights. Same performance as LUX.

not my experience in the slightest -

installed and loved them in my lci e91

about a year after install (i got the v3 for my halogen bulbs), I had the starboard side angel eye bulb go dim and the system through the bulb out error -

i reached out and was able to get a replacement set quickly

lux ftw

Yeah the outer ring isn't as bright. Everyone knows that. You could DIY some custom lights but good luck. Opening/sealing the lens is b**ch.
Or you could get someone else to build them for you. Better have $2k burning hole in your wallet.
