M57 Belt Tensioner

Quick reassurance please, I am in the middle of a timing chain replacement and would like to get the belt tensioner off, I am struggling, I would like to know if it somehow bolts in from the back, It will not budge, I have removed the 2 screws , that's all I can see. Do I need to give more pressurization? I am trying to turn it anti clockwise more and pull out, it moves and works as it should but it won't pull forward. The pic is of the same tensioner as mine. Thanks

Is yours an X5? 335d has a different one. One pictured is for the X5.
