going to code out the corners and get led bulbs for the halos for the time being until I do a retrofit.
What does that mean to code out the corners?

Hi and THank you for reply...My car originally doesn't have angel eyes... It's 2008 pre lci halogen.. That's why I bought the halogen lci headlamps with obviouy angel eyes... So now I heard or read that there is no need for extra wiring or modifications... Is this true and how to?.. As far as coding goes.. I have no idea how to and can't find anybody in south florida That could do it...

Hi guys sorry to revive such an old post but I need some guidance with this!
I have a 2006 325i (pre-lci) with standard halogen headlights (they do have auto leveling though) and one of them is taking in some water. I've tried to fix this issue so many times without success that I'm considering changing them to the newer lci halogen headlights with angel eyes!
These are my questions:
-If I do the swap are they simply plug and play without errors?
-Will I have issues with the auto leveling feature?
-The headlight part numbers you guys mention in past posts are (63117202573 and 63117202574) however the ones I found used at ebay are parts (63117202577 and 63117202578) will these work?

Thanks!!

the lci halogens , like the pre-lci halogens come with and without the autoleveling motor in the headlights. you will want the ones with it obviously. you can see the motor attached to the adjustment knob when you remove the rear bulb cover.

Seems as the (63117202573 and 63117202574) combo offered on the link previously posted are the better choice for $572 new, instead of the ones used I found (63117202577 and 63117202578) for $412, but come without the servo motors which are $85 each.. for a total of $588

Completely sure these are plug and play without errors? Does anybody know the difference between these 2 serials?
